Xiaomi Redmi 5A With Snapdragon 425, MIUI 9

Xiaomi has launched the latest entry-level smartphone, the Redmi 5A. Much like the Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the Xiaomi Redmi 5A features a metal-like matte texture which the company claims is "much lighter than the metal." The company is also highlighting lightweight body of the Redmi 5A with 137 grams. The all-new Redmi 5A also comes with some design changes which is highlighted by rounded corners for comfortable grip. Much like previous Redmi smartphones, the new Redmi 5A is said to offer decent battery life. Xiaomi claims massive eight-day long battery life on the Redmi 5A. It will also run on MIUI 9 out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, the entry-level Redmi 5A once again misses out on fingerprint scanner, similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 4A.
