An MP has urged Facebook to tackle fake news in the run-up to the UK's general election on 8 June.
Conservative MP Damian Collins expressed his concernsto the Guardian newspaper, saying fake news threatened "the integrity of democracy".
A parliamentary inquiry examining the "growin g phenomenon of fake news" waslaunched by Mr Collins in January.
