Android Nougat now the most-used version, Oreo crosses 1 per cent share in latest distribution numbers

As per the latest. distribution chart, Android Oreo (8.0 and 8.1) is present in 1.1 per cent of all active Android devices. This is slightly better than last month where Oreo accounted for only 0.7 per cent of all active devices. A lot more smartphones in recent weeks have started receiving the Oreo update including the OnePlus 5T, Moto X4 and Honor 8 Pro among others. It isn't all that surprising considering the time it takes for OEMs to push out new Android updates. For a lot of people still, the version that comes out-of-the-box is usually the only version they ever get.
